To guys, do you pay for the all costs when going out with your girlfriend or do you make them pay for their own?

If we're going on a 'date' then my boyfriend will pay for my food (the first time we went out I was a little uncomfortable with this, and wanted to pay half but it felt rude to say anything - now I'm quite happy for him to pay, lol). He doesn't pay for movie tickets, museum entry or anything that we're doing for a group (e.g. if a bunch of us are going out for drinks or coffee). Nor does he pay for fast food.

We pay for each other randomly if the other person doesn't have money...

I would never let anyone pay for me too much, I'm way too prideful

Starting out, I tried paying for everything whenever we met up with each other, but soon realised that it's not sustainable if you don't have a stable income. These days we usually split expenses, or if I pay for things one day, she will the next, so it evens out in the end.
Some snippets of what goes on in IRC:

Quote
<chath> ill say " i wont let you go until u kiss me bitch"

Quote
<@enwiabe> i have the BEST orgasms when i'm working through a math problem

Quote
<@mark_alec> my bikini line however, is most important

Are you scared yet?

This reminds me about the big bang theory episode where Sheldon discusses gift giving.

"Say I give you a $50 gift and then you give me a $50 gift and then the process goes on until one of us dies and the other friend is $50 richer"

And that reminds of the moment when the Bunnings wearhouse commercial reminded me of Thomson's lamp. Suppose two stores had the policy "if you find a better price, we will beat it by 10%". If two stores, say A and B, had the same product you wanted you could just go to store A to show them store B's price, then go to store B and show them store A's new price etc... what will the product eventually cost? where will you buy it from?
Voltaire: "There is an astonishing imagination even in the science of mathematics ... We repeat, there is far more imagination in the head of Archimedes than in that of Homer."
