well maths is different because methods is obviously going to be harder than further and specialist harder than methods.
But yeah, I trust VCAA to know what they're doing better than I do.  I think people who blame scaling are just making excuses.

Depending on what history, I'd guess either
history, bio, methods, spesh
or
bio, history, methods, spesh

No, those people - like your friend - are different.
You see, there are people who try really hard and study for so long.
Then there are those freaks. Who are just naturally BRILLIANT and only have to study for 30 minutes at max and will ace anything.

Reffering back to the original question, ill let you know at the end of the year.
I still go out, get absolutely fucked on my weekends, work, and get good grades.
Challenge is keeping this up the entire year. Esp in yr 12. hahahaa.

It's all relative... like I did a lot of hard work and i had a job, saw my friends heaps, led a church youth group was school vice house capt and got a good score. I probs could have done better, it was my exam marks that let me down, i got a B in everything except psych where i got A+ but for all my sacs (cept maths lol) i got A+'s. I burnt out towards exams, and I already have stress issues, so really it depends on who you are. balance is v. v. v. key.

humph got 99.70 with, [he says and I believe him] at most 25 mins study a night. he was quick at learning maths and seemingly knew how to "jump through the hoops" required in order to score well at English.
He did, however, have a much more rigourous yrs 7-10 than most ppl in Victoria, being at an international school in Denmark, so I expect that helped him
So, in a nutshell, if you already have the knowledge/skills to be able do the work in order to get that "awesome score" in record time, then it's very possible

I didn't really have a life around exam time, but I did for the rest of the year. I think some sacrifices have to be made, but there isn't any reason why you shouldn't enjoy yourself. Socially, year 12 was the best year of high school.

Like one of the people above said. BALANCE IS THE KEY..

I know im going to have to make many sacrifices this year, esp around exam time. Its just a couple of weeks in the long run. who gives a fuck, esp when it involves the outcome of your enter.

I said at the start of this year, im going to be like a nona. Im not going out (just a little bit.) and study hardcore. Yeeah, 5 weeks into school. I have so many 18ths lined up. lmao. but i prioritise when i have to.
