- When you turn right at a traffic light intersection check left and right as well
How come?

Pretty silly I know, but thats what my assesor told me after my test. Its in case someone decides to run the red light you can see them coming

If it requires going across to another lane then yes. You are allowed to drive on the opposite side of the road if you are trying to avoid a parked car and have right of way. You must signal correctly otherwise they take marks off.

I remember doing my test. Somehow I fluked it and got really lucky because despite almost stuffing up my reverse parking, my tester didn't deduct any marks off me at all. Plus there was little traffic and no tricky turns or anything. Glad I lucked out

hey guys, i was wondering if u could clear something up for me.

So, if u don't see a speed sign u should just go 50km until u do see one? Like how do people figure out the speed limits when there's no signs around.

Thanks,

samuch

if you dont see a sign stick to:
50 in streets
60 on main roads

hahah
you shoulda told him that hes making it even more dangerous for you by not answering your question because you made an effort to find out and he didnt tell you, so you still will not know even after asking leaving you in the same position as before :P

My instructor said that approximately two thirds of the driving test will be on residential streets and approximately one third will be on main roads.

That's the way. I had a mate who accidentally sped 5k over the limit for a while, and the inspector didn't care, and took it down in the notes as 'nervousness and anxiety'.
