I remember a time when everyone would play marbles at recess and lunchtimes too, that was weird

I was looking through my year 6 book and read about myself, I wanted to be an architect.

I found my kindergarten book and back then I wanted to be a construction worker when I grew up (?!?)

At least you woulda made money from that! In my prep book i wanted to be "A McDonald's worker"

How has no one mentioned Tazos yet?! Always convince mum to get the big chip packs as to get the extra Tazo.

ummmmm... all i remembered was that you always have to wear a hat during term 1 and 4 (i think)
i hate wearing hats...so annoying

Omg... how could we forget so easily?

These were the entirety of my grade 1 existence.

My only memory of tazos is a bit sad though... I took them all out of their holder and piled them up to show a friend how high my stack was... the wind came and blew them everywhere, mostly into a boy's pile of tazos. The boy lied about which ones were his, and the "disputed" tazos were flipped to decide who got to keep them... I was very unlucky and lost most of my favourites.

it never did me any good, as soon as i got past year 6 i never touched a hat again (so much for being educated bout sun protection )

The inaugural principal at my primary school died from skin cancer when I was in grade 5... he was a fierce advocate of sun protection, and he wasn't afraid to show us the cancerous hole that was slowly eating its way into the back of his head.

In grade 2, I had a holographic Blastoise. I didn't understand its value. Some more knowledgeable classmates traded me all these useless cards like a potion (or something), a Rattata and those energy cards. I was like "Cool! 1 card for 10 cards! That's so worth it!" I am still angry. Nah, not really =P.
