Same to everyone!!! 恭喜發財, 新年快樂! :D

According to my translator it says:

Kung Hei Fat Choy, Happy New Year

WTF?

The first is a typical Chinese New Year greeting :P
Nice translator :D

So what does the former mean?

Yeah, well I'm too lazy to actually learn a language the right way. :idiot2:

Played for 20 weddings today. If I have to play Here Comes the fucking Bride one more time I will decapitate something.

Highlight of the day: not 2 mins after signing the marriage certificate, bride/bride's family/groom/groom's family gets into an argument over who gets to be the witnesses. Lololol.

Nope. Got a phone call at 6pm the night before... "oh by the way thought you should know, you should be playing everything from memory". Goodbye 3/4 of the repertoire I was going to use. Ended up playing the same 6 pieces over and over and over and over again. Gah.

Not so literally, it can be translated as "Congratulations and be prosperous!"
But it's a very common New Year greeting! :D

So I bet it was Canon all the way :P

Nope, don't know how to play that off by heart (thank god...) :P

One of the couples asked me to play Shania Twain for when they walk down the aisle.
I said sorry, I'm only classically trained.
They said Oh Shania Twain is pretty classical!
