Some people call Pauline a "right-wing" nutjob but I'd vote for right-wing parties most of the time, and I think Pauline is my absolute political polar opposite.

She is a nutjob in terms of economics (a leftist protectionist with no understanding of trade)
She is a nutjob in terms of society (a right-wing authoritarian with no respect for individual freedom and responsibility)

I think when she says Australia is no longer the land of opportunity, she means she no longer has the opportunity to scam us all since they put a "Pauline Hanson" clause in the electoral laws (I think that's gone through by now anyway)

BNP leader Nick Griffin also said he felt sorry for Ms Hanson because she had been "forced out of her country by this politically correct intimidation and bullying".

"She would not be a sponger," he told Fairfax.

"We would regard her as a good addition."
