I seriously doubt this was a racist attack. I mean why the hell would anyone kill a baby because they have brown skin??? Anyway, what kind of douche runs around killing people at random let alone young defenseless babies? This guy sounds like a nutcase.

I was reading about how the murderer is scared for his safety in prison after the inmates found out who he is. I hope he can't sleep at night out of fear for what the inmates would do to him and that what he did to that boy haunts him forever.

It is really tragic to see something like this, especially in a neighbourhood which I am very familiar with. I wonder what actually happened to the poor boy.  Apparently he had no bruising or cuts, and the autopsy turned up nothing.  It is very strange...

I reckon it was some kind of chemical or drug... they're doing toxicology tests now... ugh, imagine working as a police detective, how desensitized would you have to get? (and how much therapy once you retire?)

Another possibility could be that he had an illness beforehand, and died at the house, then someone would have dumped him in grass to get rid of the body.

The ones who do things to children usually get it pretty hard in prison once the others find out.

No obvious signs of trauma either, i mean if your going to kill a kid youd usually do some kind of physical damage instead of sit them down and shoot them up with poison, the time frame is a bit short for that too...very strange case

This crime is shocking and I feel so sorry for that boy.

The thing that is getting me is the image:

white = racist

It can't be automatically assumed as a racially motivated crime! If there is evidence to show that the crime is racially motivated then that's different. Now with murders we don't go 'what happened to this person was horrible', but instead focus on the race.

It's really sad. A life lost so early is tragic.

I definitely don't think people can just leap to conclusions and call it a racially motivated crime. There's no evidence as to whether he was even murdered - it's possible that he died of natural causes and whoever was looking after him panicked. Until they're certain as to how he died, and if it was homicide, who committed it, I don't think any racial accusations should be made. They'll just make the situation worse.
