The manual says that we should not plus-in any USB wires or link with computers before the CD installation software has been installed on computers. I carelessly did the opposte..

Why so?
well the limit can turn into a threshold..

because if you plug it in and turn it on, windows will try and download a driver from the internet for it, instead of getting it off of the cd.  it should still work, but it's better to have the software that came with your printer because it's needed for scanning, checking ink levels and stuff like that....

Did you mean it's better to have another program that runs in the background, use up RAM, constantly try to update itself, runs at start-up, and constantly try to annoy the shit out of you?

Let windows handle it, download the bare basic driver, it's better than clogging your computer up with crap then complaining it's too slow.

yeah, basic drivers work fine.  just that it will only really allow you to print.  and most printers these days have scanners as well, and you probably need the software for that.  plus mine lets me check ink levels, which is really handy so you can make sure you never run out when you've got an important piece of work due haha!

try run as administrator or maybe download the driver or software package, whichever you prefer, from the manufacturer website and see if that will run.
