Does anyone take care with their music collection and / or how they listen to their tunes digitally?

When I was on ubuntu I used Amarok that thing was gold, but now on shitty windows and using iTunes. I've used foobar before, but god the amount of hassle to get that thing to work put me off.

The question is, what do you use to listen to music while on the computer

I take it by listening to random songs on your ipod you use itunes when on the computer?

Amarok is alright, kinda restrictive though I could never get certain feature working that I really needed. foobar is great though, lightweight and maybe 10 minutes of work to get it going (2 plugins for the theme I got and I think it looks better than most others)

I also use uPnP Media Server for streaming and iPod Manager to chuck stuff on my iPod but they aren't necessary

Give Handbrake a try (and if you've got the balls jump into straight encoding with MeGUI AvsP etc. etc.)
