Did you practice how to do it? Teach me.

haha there are a few methods. I practiced for ages, achieved a lucid dream once and gave up lol.

Lucid dreams are only good for playing out your perverted fantasies, in vivid detail.

My most successful reality check is the 'breathe through nose method'.

Basic idea: How do you know you're not dreaming right now? Sure you may say "oh, I'm clearly not" but how can you really be sure? Besides, it's perfectly possible that you're in fact dreaming and incorrectly saying that you're clearly not. Pinch your nose and try to breathe through it. If you can continue to breathe you know you're in a dream right now! If you do this enough times everyday you eventually do it in a dream and voila.

By far the most impressive method I've used is to enter a dream from the waking state without losing consciousness. Haven't you always wanted to know exactly what happens when you fall asleep? Unfortunately this is often very frightening (especially for the inexperienced ;D). See here.

When I was small I used to ALWAYS be able to lucid dream... it was fun! Now I never realise I'm in a dream, or if I do, I only manage to lucid dream for a few seconds until I wake up >:(

Also, who has felt pain in their dreams? I never used to but recently I've been able to feel pain(it's horrible), so that pinch test of seeing if I'm awake won't work :P

Some dreams I have had are the feeling of falling (that feeling in your gut) and waking up just before I hit the ground, dreaming I'm in some freaky house with a group of friends and we are being haunted by some weird creature and I always look to hide in some small place where it's small and I can see everything around me.

Funny dreams are when you have things happen to you in real life and they become part of your dream (e.g. In my dream my hand started killing me and I woke up with my puppy trying to pull on my arm). The dreams I hate are when you are fortunate (for example I dreamt I had all these pokemon cards everywhere (I was only 10 and pokemon was cool then), anyway I was looking for this particular card and just before I find it, I woke up.

Sometimes if I can't do a maths problem, I dream about it.

Anyone ever had brief moments of Psychic "power"? A few years back while all the family was in the car, I started thinking about a song I used to love when I was 6. I had this feeling that the song will play on the radio. After stating it...it did. Weirdest feeling ever.

Back on dreaming, does anyone have a dream where you are doing something you do everyday, trip, then you wake up shaking and sweating?
