Jonathan Brown played a blinder.. Currently the most dominant player in the league in my opinion, and was the difference last night.

carlton have no good/outstanding defenders when waite goes forward that can man any power house forward like brown.

brown too good :(
single handidly brought them back in q4, the loss of bower really took a lot out of our backline (and my dreamteam)

and melbourne, my sympathy for them increases by the week. Supporters were getting so excited and then they lost again. Atleast they dropped brad miller (complete flop)

i watched the last five minutes of the game today, and holding the ball should have been payed against heath shaw in the dying minutes in melbournes forward line.

typical example of umpires being weak little shits...

yea the holding the ball rule defs needs a review, that wasnt the only dodgy call. i think it was yarran that ran down pears from as he came off the bench, clearly incorrect disposal but umpire couldnt call it.

see that terrible turnover when setanta smothered the ball in the square and kicked a goal.

Unfortunately to the letter of the law that was holding the ball. But yes, I agree it shouldn't be and the interpretation should be reviewed.

On another note.. article in the paper today suggesting Malthouse called Milne a 'rapist' at quarter time on friday night. I personally have no issue with a coach giving it to other players and I really hate Milne BUT if this is true Mick's gone too far.
