THE father of a teenage sex assault victim in New South Wales who punched one of his daughter's attackers has been given a longer good behaviour bond than two of her alleged rapists.

The Daily Telegraph reports that under a controversial plea deal that reduced the charges from rape to aggravated indecent assault, two young country footballers were given 18-month bonds for their part in the horrifying attack of the then 15-year-old girl.

They walked free from court. Two other accused are awaiting sentencing.

Something doesn't add up in girls story though.

"Part of the assault on the then 15-year-old, who was almost passed out drunk, was recorded by video on a mobile phone."

but now "Now 17, the victim has clear memories of a night that will forever haunt her."

I doubt you would have clear memories of a night when you where so drunk.

Then again its totally unfair that "The agreed statement focused on how much alcohol the victim had consumed and referred to the attack as "sexual activity"." even though she was "unknowingly stripped naked and attacked in a bathroom by two of the teenagers" - Why was this the agreed statement?

It was rape. The boys walked away with no punishment.
The father shouldnt have been punished either imo. - For obvious reasons.

Heres my theory.
She probably just put out, regretted it, took them too court to salvage whatever 'reputation' she had. Over-blown attempt to hide her own error of judgement. If this was the case then everyones 'happy' in the end. Tidy resolution. She didnt want the boys too get into trouble, she just wanted some sympathy. Now it looks like an injustice and shes a rape victim, rather than her looking like another gangbanging teen slut.

I dont really understand the whole teen group sex mentality thing though. I sure as hell wouldnt participate in that shit. Its f*cking gay.

Hold on, so why would there need to be an "agreed statement"? Surely if she obviously "put out" and wanted it, the boys' statements would've added up without the need for consultation beforehand?

I dont know if im reading this right but... if what I concocted was in fact the case, then the boys defence would have been "she is a slut who was asking for it"?

So if that's what happened, why would they need an agreed statement? Surely if it had been that obvious that she was, as you say, totally up for it, then their stories would have added up without needing to actually collaborate on it.

I just dont think that using the "shes a filthy whore and shes framing us" defence is your best shot. Maybe thats what their defence team thought too. Just look at what happened, theyve used something else and gotten away scot free.
