Uni degrees: who needs 'em?

I didn't read all the way but a lot of jobs need degrees more than "medicine and law". It cant hurt educating people and [possibly] advancing our society in the pursuit of that.

I thought it was kind of simple the jobs that dont need degrees... dont need degrees and the jobs that need degrees do need degrees... i guess management is kind of a grey area but it relies on anecdotes.

I agree with you. Medicine, chemistry, law, accounting and all the others that are prerequisites for certain professions are immensely valuable. My article refers only to the generalist degrees, such as Arts, etc. - JA

Not to start a huge war or anything but arts wasn't really going to get you a job that was directly related anyway... well depends on the field ..yeah and i mean with experience + degree youd if you averaged it among people theyd probably be better than just degree or just experience yeah..
