I didn't read all the way but a lot of jobs need degrees more than "medicine and law". It cant hurt educating people and [possibly] advancing our society in the pursuit of that.

I thought it was kind of simple the jobs that dont need degrees... dont need degrees and the jobs that need degrees do need degrees... i guess management is kind of a grey area but it relies on anecdotes.

Not to start a huge war or anything but arts wasn't really going to get you a job that was directly related anyway... well depends on the field ..yeah and i mean with experience + degree youd if you averaged it among people theyd probably be better than just degree or just experience yeah..
