putting out job applications atm. Just looking for ideas. So those who work, if you could answer the following q's it would really help. If you think some are too personal/don't wish to answer any but are fine with answering others then only answer the ones you're comfortable with :)
Cheerz all

(1) Where do you currently work? (name of organisation)
(2) How much are you paid per hour (weekdays/weekends - or do you get paid the same for both)?
(3) How old are you OR what stage of highschool/uni are you in (EG - Year 12, 2nd year university)
(4) How many hours do you work a week

thanks again

Two jobs:

1) Supervisor @ Woolworths.
2) Average of bout $20/hr coz of penalties for Sundays / early morning / late night work (and also coz supervisors get an extra $1/hr or something *shrugs*).
3) 3rd year uni, started back when I was 18yo (had just turned 18).
4) Atm: 10-12 hours minimum... more if they're desperate for someone to work, or it's holidays.

1) Medical receptionist @ a GP clinic.
2) $24/hr I *think*... no penalties, aside from something like an extra $2/hr on weekends.
3) 3rd year uni, started back when I was 18yo (was just about to turn 19).
4) Atm: only a couple hours a fortnight... I'm the weekend girl... I work *way* more over summer when all the regulars want their holidays and I have *way* too much free time on my hands.

Where you thinking about applying?
What sort of jobs are you considering?

1. Dominos Pizza
2. ~$14.50. It'll be around there but I'm not exactly sure because I just turned 18. Same pay rate everyday of the week
3. Year 12
4. ~15 hours a week but it changes all the time.

If your applying you should apply absolutely everywhere.....
I didn't want to work in fast food when I was applying but in all honesty it really isn't that bad (at least not at my work)

Fyrefly, I see your two jobs and raise you one more job :P

(1) SAI Global, though I'm in the legal/compliance division, it's called Anstat/Lawlex
(2) Not really sure, I think its $23/hour. The office isn't open on weekends so no special rates or anything
(3) 3rd year uni, started this year
(4) 2 days a week, technically 9am-5pm but I always end up staying later because of the amount of work I have to do

(1) Monash choral society
(2) No idea, I get a lump sum at the end of each season
(3) started halfway through 2nd year uni
(4) 6:45pm - 9:30pm every Tuesday night, more if there's a concert/performance coming up

(1) Monash uni - I go to people's lectures and take notes for them
(2) $25/hour, I think it's something like $35 if you scribe for exams at the end of each semester
(3) started in 2nd year uni I think
(4) Depends on how many classes you volunteer for. This semester I only did 2 hours a week because of the other 2 jobs

Sorry, not very useful for you unless you go to Monash / do law.

Ahahaha... if you want to get *technical* Ninwa... atm I'm sort of working at TWO Woolworths stores, and the GP I work at has TWO clinics (with different ABNs).
Thus: I see your three and raise you one... total of FOUR.

DAMNIT.

Well. Technically I also work for a musical society as an official accompanist. Even though I don't do anything for most of the year. So TECHNICALLY I have four jobs too.

oh and about your mate "just starting" i think most fast food places (maccas, HJ etc) give a lower starting wage for a three month period then it goes up a few dollars

Wow, what a job.  I never knew Monash had jobs like that.  But it would really suck if the lecturer spoke in a monotone or if the lecture was just plain boring.
