MedEntry Percentile Comparisons

Thought it might be good to compare scores with people on the MedEntry Exams.  The people on VN are all quire intelligent so it would give a good indication of where we are all at with UMAT prep.

I just did Exam 1 and these are my results.  Add you own results for any exam so people can gauge how they are doing.

Exam 1
Section 1 - 28/44 (62nd percentile)
Section 2 - 31/40 (88th percentile)
Section 3 - 21/38 (77th percentile)

I got

Exam1:
32/44 - 86 percentile
28/40 - 62 percentile
26/38 - 95 percentile

i did it so long ago and it's no longer there ~
(i think its because they have updated all of them since i did it)
but my scores were somewhere around ~85 for sec1, ~90 for sec2, and ~60 for sec3 from memory..

ahh i havent thought of the umat in months haha, my chances at monash are almost nonexistent. but i'm ok with this ><

the second exam i did ages ago had like 0-40% for sec 2 and then ~80 for sec 3.. so weird hahah

Mine was fairly evenly distributed from 30 to 90 percentile. Section 2 is really quite random from my experience, but that might have just been an indicator of how much I relied on guessing.

Section 2 - 34/40 (88th percentile)
Section 3 - 24/38 (70th percentile)

I did it a while ago too:
~75% sec 1
~0-40% sec 2 (lolwtf.........)
~90% sec 3

Exam 2 percentiles are retarded :S... i bet kids ran out of drills and did exams longer than they were allowed or only the PRO's do exam 2 onwards.. coz i got way lower percentiles lol

There would also be douchebags who get the answers off their friends accounts and then think that it is amusing to enter it into the system and make it look like they got 100%.

Thats screwed up I got 32/40 for section 2 and im 63percentile...

Section 3 - 29/38 (95th percentile) 2.5 hrs

i say untimed tests are pointless, especially umat exams cos speed is pretty much everything.

Exam 3
Section 1 - 30/44 (87th percentile)
Section 2 - 25/40 (53rd percentile)  fml, family were making so much damn noise!
Section 3 - 25/38 (84th percentile)

question 5 from section 3 on this paper can go f**k itself.  anyone who can do this question, you are a genius, and i would like to be the first to congratulate you in getting into your med degree haha.

Gratz man...your doing REALLY well...Im pretty sure your high 80s would be 95+ in real exam
