Probability for UMAT Section 1

Is it worth learning Methods probablity before the UMAT?

It will probably be an advantage, but I don't know if I will have the time.

MedEntry seems to have an awful lot of problem solving questions based on probability, some of them quite difficult.
Is it worth the time?

Also, to anyone who has done the UMAT, are there many probability style questions on the paper, or is it more or less just something that MedEntry uses to fill in space on quizzes and exams?

Edit:  I don't think there will be stuff like the Multipication and Addition rule, but combinations seem to come up a lot.  Appropriate knowledge of basic probability also seems very important.

I honestly remember no advanced probability questions on the UMAT. Unit 4 methods wasn't the sort of thing that would appear (ie distributions and binom/normal/poisson etc).

I wouldn't worry too much if you don't revise it. You can get over the threshold without studying/doing a course, so relax.
