I have spent over 5 years pondering over why people decide to buy Apple products when it is quite obvious that other mp3 players/phones provide more features for about 1/3 of the price.

I guess it makes you look cool.

Apple products have always been a "brand name" i reckon. I mean alot of my friends who have had iphone 3g for like a year are changing to iphone 4. i dont see the point really

A lot people use apple because it's very user-friendly. I wouldn't bother with the new generation one though. A guy at the phone shop was telling people they are crap and I don't know why he'd have any motivation to say that if it wasn't true.

honestly
my friend has one ( he got it from UK or US 2-3 weeks ago)
hes currently on telstra unlocked prepaid
the reception problem barely occurs

also
they come with a free case .. ( any normal logical practical person would use a case anyway when paying almost 1.5 grand for a phone)
so you would use a case anyway .. and they come with one that fixes the problem

they are the best phone on the market

Screw the iPhone. Get an Android phone. Much better and cooler and less buggy than an apple product. Also some of them come on cheaper plans than the iphone does, plus they all have flash :P

Hmm, Ima wait for the 4gs (or whatever they're going to call it) to come out. I remember when the 3gs came out just a bit after the 3g, it was faster, cheaper and could store more. :L
