Isn't that silly though, then why would you have hearing aids in the first place?

To help her to learn would be the primary reason. What is she gonna hear on her walk anyway..

My 2 cents: She was obviously feeling awkward about having a kid with "noticeable" hearing aids. The kid is in a pram and doesn't strictly need them, therefore removing them is the best way to allow her to not feel like they're sticking out like a sore thumb while she takes her kid for a walk. Change the clothes wrong imo, as people don't really care about the dress etc, they just see the cute child. Other answers seemed equally wrong, but take the hearing aid seemed to be the only one which would soothe the parent's self consciousness.

but thats just delaying the inevitable it doesnt alleviate the problem on delays it, the mother said she wants the hear peoples thoughts on the aids if she was like "oh man please dont mention the aids please dont" then i would say removing them would be best. wow what i just wrote could be misinterpreted badly...

The problem was that she was feeling awkward about taking her kid for walks. It solves that problem. I got a vibe that she didn't want to talk about it, but expected it to happen and this made her apprehensive.

oh god seriously who knows it could be either of them depends on the majority, could even be plainer clothes despite clearly not being the best option,..

I really doubt that the people behind the umat would condone taking out a kids hearing aids to help a mother deal with her insecurities..

Point being? Imo that isn't what is being tested in sec2. If you replace the words "hearing aid" with "red hat" and do the question, the answer is obviously to remove the red hat.
