Oh yeah, I remember that question. Each band was like a year, and the separate cross sections were from the same tree a few years years apart. So you just had to find where the arrow was on one in relation to the other and count the bands between. Can't remember the answer though.

You had to match the 3 pictures so that they were in order then start counting

DID ANYBODY HAVE A TREE QUESTIONS..? something about ages of tree, they gave us cross sections of the trees, one of the options was like 1832...

yeah i had this, with the arrows pointing to parts of the plates of the tree. worst question
what did you put down vexx?

I can't remember sorry, I think i did 1816 or whatever, as it was less then the current year listed. May have been wrong though as this one i was confused with and just moved on quickly.

wait..how could it be less, they showed a point at the top then asked how old would it be like 2 cross sections later each of which represented a certain number of years, so how less?

Yea your meant to first find the pics in order yea... you gotta find the pattern in the 1st arrow to appear in the pic in the 2nd arrow then start counting ring by ring (1+1+1..)

i cant remember exactly the question sorry, but it was comparing the relative age of one cross-section, and the order i had identified in the question prior indicated that it was less so either A (180X) or B (1816). But this was probably my most unsure question that i actually did on the paper! So who knows..

I's love too. Somehow doubt I'll get the 100th percentile though...

Well after a year of uni it's so possible if your UMAT is fairly good.

Yeah, that's right. Was one of the easier questions imo.

Nice one. Who knows, maybe we'll get the 100th percentile and be two of the lucky six that get straight in :)

I really like Hobart. Spent a bit of time there last summer; seems really chilled out, with lots of nice cafes, galleries etc.
