No Study Score?

This post is on behalf of a fellow Yr 11 friend of mine.

She did IT:Sofeware Development this year. She got a grade for each area but it said her actual study score was UN.
She thinks this was because she handed in a SAC really late but wants to know how she can have grades but no study score. 
Does this mean that subject wont count at all?

Maybe she should wait til she gets the statement of results? Or possibly call her school and ask what happened? I don't know, hope that helps =)

If she failed the exam, she'd get no SS even if she passed everything all year. That happened to a classmate for methods 3/4 last year, so he repeated this year.

Otherwise, perhaps it's a fault on the school's behalf and they didn't correctly report on her progress. Even if she did fail because of a late sac, I'd be of the stance that she should have been warned of impending failure of a subject, rather than committing her to sitting exams for a subject she'd already failed.

Like Odette said, she's best off waiting for the letter to arrive (most likely today, perhaps tomorrow for suburbs further away from Melbourne).

they dont give u a study score if u got lower than 20 or something

Yeah, I think they say "<20" or something?
