julia gillard. I hate her!

I really do. firstly she's ousts kevin rudd, whom I personally loved. then she takes the position of prime minister in a way that makes a mockery of our entire democracy. THEN she makes a deal that gets her back into government... I have lost what little faith I had in voting

Meh who cares.  We just have to put up with her and Swan (uuggghhh) for 3 years......Joe Hockey for PM in 2013!!!!!

Hmmm not too pleased either. The Coalition technically speaking DID have more seats won than Labor... but what can you do? Not much, in the grand scheme of things.

democracy = you vote for the party not the leader

Also, I think Julia isn't as professional looking as Abbott. She will make Australia look like a joke at those world meeting things. (Don't know much about politics)

Abbott replacing Turnbull was totally a different matter... it wasn't a) just a few months before the election and b)Turnbull wasn't even THE PM VOTED BY THE PEOPLE OF AUSTRALIA (not that i ever liked k-rudd).

Yes, we vote for the party, but the party itself is even worse than the person leading it. The Labor party were the ones who ultimately decided to oust Kevin Rudd. You can't trust Labor; the same party Hawke and Keating led.

I was going to argue with some of the opinions in this thread, but because there is nothing substantial behind them, there's really no point.

not all opinions invite a debate, nor do all opinions need substantial backing, but I think if you want to try and destroy some people here you may as well try, you may even get a substantial retort.

i'm not attacking you but posts like that are honestly stupid. "I have something good to say, but I won't say it because everyone here is stupid". why state that you have something to say if you won't say it?
