How do you change an equation like to have just y as the subject so it can be sketched?

Yeah, so if I had
for I would get or
and for or .
So where would I go from there? I put them into and , is says busy for several seconds and then shows no graph.
Is this the right way to go about sketching a graph like ?

Not quite.

On CAS, you are meant to solve the expression as a whole, not in two parts, i.e.

Code: [Select]
cSolve(abs(z+1)=abs(z-3i),y)|z=x+yi

:)
