I don't think so. I mean if you enjoy your subjects and you're willing to work hard in them then they shouldn't be a problem. It's not like you cant get 45 upwards in humanities. But goodluck :)

No you don't. You can do as little as you want. However it is up to your school as to whether they will allow you to have a lighter workload

Hey.
This is my first post. I did Biology 3/4 this year and got 43.
Subjects I'm doing in '08:
English
Ethics (Unit 1 only)
German
Maths Methods
Specialist Maths
Chemistry
UMEP Biology

Do you think this is too much?? Spoke to a few teachers and they said it would be possible, but quite stressful. My biology teacher told me that I would be fine.. Still unsure though..

Well as long as you manage your time wisely then it's definitely possible... however it may be a little too much considering the subjects that you've chosen require a lot of work/study... it really comes down to your time management skills (ahh business management lol) :)
Good luck

My friend did 6, he ended up with a 69. Overworked, and overstressed, he did not study effectively and paid the price. I vote against it.

Study what you think will be useful to you. A concentrated session for one hour focussing on a single task always beats out three checking the phone/msn etc every few seconds.
