They'll probably have the new generation scholarship which is $2500 for people who got 98+, they'll also probably have access scholarships after some people who were offered them have decided not to attend Melbourne. They may even have another round of National scholarships (probably not though).

I've gotten into the PhB (Arts) at ANU and I've received a scholarship offer from them worth $5k per annum :)

dentistry is an awful job to do anyway i mean considering you need 99+ minimum, it is not worth it. It costs more to actually become a qualified dentist then the actual 1st and 2nd year earnings they boast on about which clearly will have a great impact on your future years. oh yes btw it is because i have a cousin who is a dentist and regrets it dat to day; touching mouth/teeth... what a job...

For those going to Monash who haven't yet received any scholarship offers, don't despair. I got mine (Faculty of Arts, merit) a couple of weeks into the first semester last year (my ENTER was 99.00, incidentally).

Thanks! :) I think I need to see the (however limited) sites of Canberra/ANU. I've only been to Canberra twice before and I've never actually been to ANU! I have seen some sites though... like the mint *shudders*.

And yeah, I am planning on going to Burgmann, but I haven't heard anything from them yet.

I got a scholarship into Science/Engineering at Monash, though I don't see it lasting too long on account of my non-existent work ethic. I got this far doing zero work but I think the gravy train will stop very, very soon. :(

wow, you've never been to ANU yet? should've gone up for the open day in august...

you should get accommodation offers tomorrow or the day after, i think. i'm pretty certain you'll get accepted by burgmann though, doing PhB or other high degrees like arts/law generally gets you into your first preference.

hey aidan, just for some perspective, what ENTER did you receive to get your scholarship? I assume that you received an Engineering Excellence Award?
2006: Engineering Studies 45 (Premier's Award), Religion and Societies 39
2007: Methods 45, Spesh 46, Chem 50, Physics 41, Literature 39, MUEP Maths 5.5
ENTER: 99.60
Science/Engineering @ Monash; Mat'ls Eng; Chem, Physiology?
