I brought this up because I figured if 2008 VN duxes were getting recognition, shouldnt the 07 one as well?
In the past ~16 hours I have learnt that most people view this as thinking I am self-important. Yes I did want recognition for 2007's achievents, that was the whole point of me asking, apparently there is something wrong with that. I can't understand why but I will accept it and drop it, it has been a good learning experience for the future, I learn social rules from experience not by intuition.
I have also learnt through contact with the owners of this site that a 2007 dux will not be considered, no matter who it is deemed to be. From my point of view the issue has been resolved.

I will no longer reply to your insults regarding this issue enwiabe.

Must be a pretty pathetic one if, 1 year after you've left school, you're still seeking attention and recognition for your results. As I have previously stated, above me there is a fake person and a person with 8 posts. lul.
People reading - Enwiabe doesnt want me to have it. Eniwabe's gf doesn't want me to have it. It's never going to happen because of those 2 reasons.

Of course I don't want to award you the title of dux. The primary reason being you DIDN'T DUX.

It *would* be nice if there was an official VN Dux of 2007 (regardless of who that is) just so that if this site continues to flourish as it has there could be some sort of honour wall of all the Dux's or something, I dunno. It seems odd that this sprung up outta no where... but yeh im all for the idea... but i dont actually support any individual in their quest for being 2007 dux.

I still don't understand however why their are double standards on this forum, one rule for certain people who are in positions of power and other rules for normal VN members who are labelled as "trollz zomg" if they insult someone on VN. meh

Sure, you feel this way but publicly insulting someone (regardless of reasons) on your own message board.... settle it by PM or some other private means.

imo an ADMIN should be objective..and especially not publicly attack a member.

but really; can't you see that someone who has just signed up (or even a relatively old member) is going to be a little discouraged if the ADMIN is calling people names?

i must concur with ninwa i mean even though enwiabe is an admin he should have the right to defend his actions.
Although, on the down note, he could have worded it out better and explained himself in a more formal manner.

Yeh I dont condone mel insulting enwiabe either. Im just saying especially from the admin, it should be dealt with in a better manner. Defending oneself doesnt need to resort to this:

It does, but enwiabe is only human. caramel has continuously called VN a "horrible" site - wouldn't you get over-defensive?

i may get defensive, but 'over-defensive'?.... dont think so because the word itself characterises the situation 'over'-defensive. If everyone was over-defensive then it just be normal and theirfore it would just be defensive.
