Noooooo, it's one SAC. looong way to go yet.  and besides, exam is really what will determine your score, aslong as you get decent SAC marks 90%+, your study score will be based pretty much purely on the exams.

Its not the score that matters, its how you did relative to everyone else.
EG: If that was the highest mark then it doesn't matter

ohh, thanks guys for telling me that ..

um , but i thought its how you go comaparing wth the rest of the state that matters...

um, i think there are about 6 people in my class got an A, and there are about 18 people in my accounting class... purhaps i am ranked the 6th out of 18...

You're only compared with the state when it comes to the exam. Every school does different SACs, so the major thing that counts for your SAC score is your ranking in the class.

Of course your SAC score can then be adjusted depending on your performance on the exam, but all that is a bit technical for me to explain lol.

Anyway, just aim to do better on the rest of your SACs (not that 44/50 is bad) and aim to get that elusive number one ranking.

Oh, it helps to do well on the exams too.
Lol.

If you get up to 1st or 2nd ranking and you do really well on the exams then you should be able to get a 45 or above.

So is that ranking just in your class or across all classes in your school? For example our school has 2 methods classes, so in the next test if I get the top mark in our class but not across all the classes am I still top ranked or what?

Sorry to hijack your thread monokekie :)

It's the SAC ranking across all classes in your cohort.  So to answer your question, you will have top ranking in your class but in the overall SAC ranking, you will not be at the top.

ever considered sabotage?

Sabotage everyone's sacs and work like a real unit towards exam time. easiest pathway to success lol
but seriously, your sac mark is still excellent, don't stress  ;D

In all seriousness, you are not stuffed.

SACs don't make a huge difference at the end, and plus this result is minute in comparison to other SACs you would be doing for Accounting.

You can still get 45+, even a 50, if you get good scores on the exams.

no not at all,

firstly 44/50 is an awesome score for a first sac, you can only improve from here. Secondly look where you went wrong, In yr 12 my teacher was a tight arse and took off marks for anything that was a little different and it shat me. In all honesty VCE accounting is a bs subject, in that you have to bullshit your way to get marks. You have to answer in the right way and have clear cut definitions. A lot of people know the stuff, but dont answer it the right way and hence lose marks
