I'm definitely on it too much - I guess it's a desire to stay connected with the rest of the world even when you're bogged down by study.

I have strong admiration for anyone who has the discipline to give it up cold turkey during VCE.

Never liked Facebook. It's leading to a point such that human interaction will depend on a tailored medium from which to socialise. Dangerous tin foil hat brigade stuff right there.

I don't think having fb is bad.
Just because I always use fb/msn to ask other people questions about how they are doing their work so it helps me.

facebook is alright, i usually just leave it running in the background along with msn....
only bad when during exam period otherwise im talking about school/work with friends

haha most of my friends in yr 12 got addicted to this game called "Treasure Isle" on fb and now my new feed keeps getting spammed with messages like "oh no! xxx lost her cat! please help her find it" etc. eww :(

I was contemplating whether to join the bandwagon or not in case fb eats me alive next year :\
