I'm sorely tempted...

Odds for Man City to win vs United on wednesday (GMT) stand at 2.60 -ie: bet $100 and win $260; that's *after* Evra, Vidic, Berbatov and Scholes have been laid down by a virus; Giggs and (of course) Rooney are absent; Nani doubtful. Reckon one should (if one is so inclined) put heaps on City to win at that price? I know Utd are very often more than the sum of their parts -the reverse being true for city -but even so, with no highly technical players, unity and cohesion can only get you so far.

He needs decent service to score. And he looks promising but isn't a superstar -contrary to what the hype machine would have you believe.

yea he'll somehow manage to put the ball in the back of the net after his shot manages to bounce off his head, deflect off 4 defenders clearly hitting the forearm of one of them atleast, then ricochets of the top of the woodwork, hart will lunge only to fall square on his ass subsequently fracturing his pelvic bone and the goal will controversially count after video replays clearly show that the ball didnt cross the line.

My money is still on Manchester City to win.

Manchester United are weaker than they have ever been, losing Ronaldo and Tevez hurt them. Sir Alex didn't make any major signings which he may regret and Rooney's absence from the match will lower their chances. Though, I agree, Manchester City are somewhat inconsistent... when their star players perform, they are very good.

I think the match will be close, if not a Manchester City win then a draw may be on the cards.

True. The match was evenly played out, though I would have liked to see more goals.
