Usually works best when you guys actually have an activity planned. I can imagine a meet in the park being incredibly awkward on the other hand. Like last time we went for laser tag+bowling+Galactic circus games and that wasn't too bad...

I'm in, especially if we can have it around the 9th of december (so that I can be in melbourne at the time)

Laser tag sounds great, bowling is also fine, paintball would require 18+ (options if we wanted something that would be less awkward) (isn't awkward an awkward word?)

Galactic circus is so expensive X.X last time i went there i ended up splurging 50 bucks just cause i wanted to get shiny metal golden cards

Nah I hosted it in the holidays and there was this holiday express thing, $25 for laser tag, unlimited games + bowling, then went on over9000's BOAT~ :P (so that was free too)
