Idunno if its good or anything LOL. It cost me like 6 bucks..

This is it.

Lol, looks exactly like the one I've got, but for $6 cheaper!

If it doesn't move fast enough though, just break it apart and use Vasceline or something on each of the inside faces and then put it back together (although don't do this unless you really want good times because they can be hard to put back together at first).

Hm, i've heard that vaseline can damage one's rubiks cube when used to lubricate the mechanisms.
It essentially destroys it from the inside out. Something to do with it being oil-based? I'm not really sure.

I assume a silicone-based product would be better.

that would actually be better, but the damage is quite slow (from my experience) and vasceline is much cheaper

My fastest was a minute 10, i couldn't seem to break the 60s barrier, so i just stopped trying..this was last year though, if i try now, it'll probably be 1:30 min.. Yea, cheap cubes aren't worth it, i think i bought 3 before a good one, ended up breaking them all because the axel wouldn't turn.
try 4x4x4 or 5x5x5. 5x5x5 is actually easier :D cause there is a set colour for each side, unlike 4x4x4..

I'm pretty bad because I never learnt the PLL's and OLL's for 3x3 but doing it the noob way I got it down to like 1min 20s.
My friend's in the 20s range, he's a beast!
With luck I can do the 4x4x4 in 15 mins LOL. I ceebs learning parity so I just jumble up the inner sides.

Your friend is certainly a beast! I don't think my method could ever get me 20s, my average being 50s-1min.

Still, world record is like 7.08 seconds... (yep, wtf?)

I think that's a bit unfair to say. You can't expect everyone to devise algorithms when they just want to have fun seeing it work.
