Damn English bid is fucked :(. Honestly don't know what goes through the mind of the British media sometimes, broadcasting the Panaroma investigation 3 days before the vote. Idiots.

Agreed. Yet they're still in with a good chance for 2018 - if they can get to the third round they will be in a great position. Have you signed up to our bid?

england will win for sure. russia is a country still troubled by many hardships and with racism being a big problem in many parts i can't see them winning. and if we lose to qatar, i will flip!

I really hope Australia gets to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

As for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, I think England will also win. They have a lot of pulling power and it is considered as the "home of football" - England is steeped in football history - from Bobby Robson to David Beckham.

Also, with Russia - going from what I've seen on UEFA Champions League football (on TV), it seems pretty cold there - like -10 degrees or something. :P

England "being the home of football" is not really as big a factor as one may think. The 22 ExCom who are voting are trying to secure the best bid for their nation, and confederation.

It will be a big coup! We know we have the best technical bid, but it wont be easy, we are up against some SMART nations (see: qatar donating stadia to 3rd world countries).

What have you done to spruik our bid, MBBS? Have you changed your Facebook Profile Pic, have you updated your status to something Bid relating?
