Time for wikileaks China . . .

I'm sure they would have him murdered for that, if related to Russia as well.  :crazy2:
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

That's really my only criticism of wikileaks. Their virulent anti-US agenda focusing on democracy's imperfections comes at the expense of exposing far more heinous crimes at the hands of totalitarian China or neo-Stalinist 'Putin-stan'.

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I imagine they would release such files if they had some. Out of curiosity, have they said how they find any of these files? Searching the bins of the Pentagon?

Massive ++++ respect if they release China-related documents, but I highly doubt it, especially considering the so-called democratic countries are trying to block the site, calling for his arrest for terrorism, demanding his execution, calling for his 20-year-old son to be physically harmed or kidnapped in a bid to flush out his father etc. God knows what China would do to him / his family.

It's kind of sickening to see people acting as such. I hope the site stays up.

This is Appalling.

Our freedoms are unrestricted, yet of course through some bullshit loophole is the govt able to prosecute civilians for exercising their "god-given" rights.

Maybe the shit released is sensitive, yet if the government's of the world, especially america weren't so corrupt then there would be no need to fear such documents.

All this proves as someone above said, is that our democracy is a facade.

Nonsense. Things can be secret without being illegal or unethical. Of the 250,000 leaked cables, how many indicated a corrupt government and how many were just regular, honest communications about situation X?

I dont know, i didnt read all 250,000 documents... did you?

I never said that they couldnt be, all i said was that 'MAYBE' those documents released may potentially create hostility between nations. That is the only point against wikileaks i have, as i am totally for it.

Also, i never claimed that things which are kept in the dark hint at corruption.

And this is one example of corruption:

http://213.251.145.96/cablegate.html

"The cables show the extent of US spying on its allies and the UN; turning a blind eye to corruption and human rights abuse in "client states"; backroom deals with supposedly neutral countries; lobbying for US corporations; and the measures US diplomats take to advance those who have access to them."

It was a rhetorical question, my point was that ipso facto most of the cables aren't evidence of some big conspiracy etc. Transparency in government is all well and good, but a complete lack of accountability in the process is a horrible idea

Also, i never claimed that things which are kept in the dark hint at corruption.
