No, we are running out of ip addresses. Each computer connected to the internet has an ip address, when we run out, it just means the network cannot support new users, and we'd be queuing to use the internet.

Yeah, think of all the servers, computers, laptops, smart phones, etc etc. especially tthe popularity of smart phones, each one has their own ip address.

IPV6 is out and standaradised (and has been for a while) we just need some adoption of it and then we shouldn't have much of a problem until IPV6 addresses start running out; by then W3C should decide on a new standard.

4.3Billion possible combinations including private usage IP Addresses not allocated to public use. Its not hard to understand why we're running out with society's reliance on the internet.

IPv6 has support for 2128 different combinations it will be years before we run out of IPv6 addresses. We aren't adopting IPv6 fast enough though.  Last time I checked Internode were the only Aussie ISPs to provide native IPv6 support.

I should point out it wasn't W3C that came up with IPv6 it was IETF
