How to get an @live.com email address?

My formal email's at gmail, first name and second name with two number digits at the end (because I couldn't make one without them). I think that should suffice.

e.g. [email protected] (not mine)
      [email protected] (not mine either)

Or should I have used John Citizen as an example
If you can get one without the numbers, even better.

I will never be able to get a professional email from public suppliers if that were the case

No I doubt they would formally judge you on it, but it does send a message.

Nah I didnt say @live.com.au was informal, Its just more convenient for me.
I have so many emails I have to take care of (parents/paypal etc.) that I forget which ones have the .com or .com.au suffix. It'd be a lot easier for me to stick with a simple .com

You didn't need to get an American to make it for you. You could just go to the American site and then create it there lol

I was going to make a gmail one but problems arose when my name was taken and since it doesn't take symbols such as "-", I was kind of out of luck. I wasn't too keen on using the numbers since it might look very amateur.
As you said it is better to use a live.com.au rather then a hotmail for resume and job purposes since [email protected] looks a lot better then a [email protected] to an employer.
