UK govt to make porn "opt-in"

The definitions of 'hard core' were to be determined at the Government's leisure. And similarly, people could choose to opt in and allow the 'hard core' pornography pass to their personal computers.

STEPHEN CONROY, COMMUNICATIONS MINISTER: You can't opt in or out of the prohibited material. The clean feed is something you can opt out. So Australians that want to look at all of the other material have the capacity to still do that.


The clean feed is the controversial issue as it blocks many otherwise legal porn sites etc.

In my opinion, we have it worse.

I dont want my internet clean filtered.. I have to be 18 to like opt out of it. It also will reduce internet speeds if you don't opt out.. but yea.. imagine telling parents:

I'm opting out of the clean feed.
