Thoughts on this laptop?

I personally think it's a very good deal. However, ive heard that intel are releasing some new thing so all the prices of these 'older' laptops/pcs will be greatly reduced in the following months.

Is having shared graphics + ram a bad thing??

Intel are releasing their new processor architecture (sandy something) so yeah, prices of the older tech will drop. I wouldn't say greatly reduced but there will be a reduction. Sharing memory with ram isn't bad unless you're planning on playing intensive games on it.

Before you buy an HP laptop, you absolutely must test it out. The DV series are a pain (I returned one) because the keyboard has a row of unique HP keys on the left hand side that you'll constantly be hitting by mistake. Also, the touchpad + buttons on that laptop are extremely low quality IMO

Those are personal things though, if you don't mind that then it's a decent deal

Hmm yeah im not a big fan of their touchpads as well. It feels really awkward using them.
Looking at other shops now as well. Centrecom have a few decent ones..

I've got one of these. I like it. Battery life is only bout 3 hours though... I'm going to invest in a second, bigger battery.
