Hey, we were top before throwing games away and Liverpool did finish 3 games behind us!

Do we want to have an ATARNotes fantasy league? I reckon that'd be quite fun. Screw it, I already like the idea. Setting it up now!

Sure why not, I can lose in two fantasy football leagues now :)

It's going to be a tough year for Arsenal. I like Arsenal the best out of the old firm top 4 :(

Yes, but Liverpool have strengthened (albeit not all that well) whereas Arsenal are set to lose at least one if not both of their best players.

Arsenal is lacking in defence they have pretty good attack, even though RVP suffers from 1 or more big injuries every year.

what are some good advice websites for EPL fantasy (1st year) sorta like yscc.com.au or tooserious.com for supercoach?

I'm as blind as you are about this stuff. I haven't played fantasy in 3 years and I didn't know what I was doing then, and certainly don't know now. But what the fuck?! I just picked my team and LOOK AT THIS:

Oh I just realized, I thought they mistaken the teams for the players, but its meant to indicate which team the player is up against the next round.

What website are you using for the league?

And enwiabe's picture is obviously a trick, he'll just select the man city side ;)

On my playmaker point, I was thinking of a ball-retaining, tempo-dictating, cul-de-sac-evading superstar, like Riquelme (remember him?) or Xaviesta. Neither Silva/Toure or Lampard/Essien, despite their strengths, fit the bill.

As for Man City's title chances........................well, they're improving in terms of team spirit and cohesion, but are still behind the top two on those two counts. And their manager, while competent is often detrimentally hidebound. And, compare their squad with those of the top two, man-for-man and only the most *cough* blinkered of their fans *cough* would argue they're on an equal footing. So I'd put them with Arsenal and hopefully Spurs (whom I've a soft spot for) among the also-rans.
