Hiya guys, I've got a little bit of an issue.. Na, it's actually a huge problem :(
My phone is suddenly not receiving any messages or calls. It is only receiving from one number, which is very weird LOL.
Do you guys have anything I can try to get my phone back to normal?
Thank youuu.

Details? What phone, network etc? What have you tried and haven't you tried? First steps I'd take would probably be:
1. Switch your phone on and off.
2. Put your SIM into another phone. Then you can narrow down whether it's a phone or network problem.
3. Whack your phone. Seriously, solves 99% of tech problems.

I have the Samsung Galaxy on a Virgin Plan, I just got it about 4 months ago. The internet on the phone is also a little dodgy sometimes :S
I've tried step 1 and I'm too scared to try step 3 cos I love my phone too much, haha. I'll probably try step 2 then ..
Any other ideas what could be wrong?

I found this on whirlpool and it seems to say what Shinny said.

I know others who have had a similar problem on other phones and all they said was that they had to wait a few days and it was back to normal.

This problem is fixed now :)

What I did was call up Virgin Mobile and tell them my connection was screwed up. They then said something about having to refresh my connection. They told me to turn off my phone for 5 minutes after the phonecall and then to turn it back on. I did this and now my phone is back to normal.

Thanks guys!

I still stand by my affirmation that step 3 would've solved it.

That would have been my next step.
