Are 6 Subjects Necessary for an awesome score?

It would feel so much better with just 4. And imagine if u got rid of 1 in year 11.

6 subjects just gives you the most possible points you can get since every subject counts, however, some people who just do 4/5 subjects are not disadvantage because they have a lesser workload, and they can focus on less subjects. So yea they both pros and cons just do what you feel like.
I know a person who did 9 subjects (3 in year 11, 6 in year 12) and got 96 (none of the subjects were 40+ RAW). So its not quantity that counts its the quality which you produce from them.

There were actually two people like that last year.  Both got 45+ in Ancient Greek, Latin, Spesh and a 50 in English.  ^_~

You don't need 6 subjects to get a good score. You just have to do well on the amount you have. Only 10% of the fifth and sixth subject is counted so it doesn't make a big difference. it just helps you with and few extra points. But to do well put effort in your Subjects especially english since it gets counted no matter what.

Eek... I'm only doing four this year (did a year 12 last year and got a 45)... The scary bit is that I'm not doing spec/Lote/sciences! I'm regretting my choices - English, Methods, Health and Psych!

As long as you enjoy the subjects you're doing it doesn't matter I enjoy mine.
