how do i do this?

3x^4 − 6x^3 + 0x^2 + 12x / 3x + 1 ?

lol, gimme a sec, again I still have no idea how to do long division on LaTeX, so i shall use paint bear with my slowness -_-""

EDIT: also i assume that's a 12x not a 12^x ?

yeah, i know, but a really long and tedious long divsion that you have to show working could be in the calc exam too.

but if it came up on the noncalc exam it be really annoying particularly this question i posted above
