Yeah... I might have cared in 2001, but taking 10 years to shoot a dying man who spent half his life in a cave isn't such a great achievement in my books.

I think it's really disgusting how everyone's chanting and just this whole public expression of general happiness everywhere. It's really no different to how people in the Middle-East behave when a dictator has been dismantled from power. We shouldn't be encouraging such behaviour and in the end he was just one man.

yeah, also i find it unsettling how they just dumped his body in the ocean.
couldn't they have taken some pictures for us to confirm his identity?
dunno, the whole thing sounds a bit fishy to me...

Give us some links if there are any. I've seen none in the paper, and none on the news sites i've visited
They say the image is too graphic, as it was a headshot, and his head is like...yeadat

I read somewhere that the obama administration hasn't decided whether or not to publish the images to the media yet..but they are going to have to, if they want to clear the suspiciousness of people. I think it will come out in the next couple of days, if any.
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Regardless of if he is dead or not (burying him at sea is a bit suspicious), Osama is yesterday's news, Terrorists have already spread away from him, killing him doesn't do anything now (in regards to the war on terror). Still, I worry for a possible retaliation....

Burying at sea is more than just suspicious, it's absurdly crazyily funny.

"We just killed the most wanted guy, look, we dump him in the ocean."

Wait, how did they manage to kill one of the "world's most wanted man" with a squad? Where is his battalion of men protecting his compound and his flock of fanatics?
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle
