Lowest ATAR / UMAT Score to get into MBBS

So what is the lowest Atar / Umat score to get into MBBS at Monash. Also, does Monash look at SEAS applications?

ATAR= 88

UMAT score= changes every year, it depends on the cohort, but roughly ~90 percentile

and I think Monash does look at SEAS, but you would have to first reach the requirements.

For non-SEAS, as far as I know, last year's cut off percentile was roughly ~94th percentile for Monash University for interview offers, and the median score for ATAR was around 99.40 (that said, a solid interview can lower that by quite a bit). But if you don't get an interview offer, it won't matter what your ATAR is (unless it's 99.95, then they give you a second round interview as long as your UMAT is higher than 50 overall).

can you apply for SEAS for under represented school, to lower umat to get an interview?

Not sure about that Under-Represented SEAS category, but I know SEAS students have gotten lower cut-off for UMAT scores. (But as for under-rep'd schools, that UMAT is supposed to be an aptitude test which doesn't really correspond to being part of an under-rep'd school, imo. But that's just what I think. But then again, I think this whole UMAT thing is a joke. )

^^I'd agree. I don't think performance on the UMAT has anything to do with going to an under-represented school. Especially as ACER says that preparation is unnecessary and not encouraged.

Rural will get you a lower UMAT cutoff, but that's the only thing that'll get you in an interview.
Non-Rural cutoff = 60
Rural Cutoff = 50

It's very unlikely you'll get in with an ATAR below 95 (i'm hesistant to even say this low.. maybe 96-97) even if you smash the interview and get a decent UMAT -- the competition is very fierce, so you really do need high 90s ATAR, gettingabove the cutoff and smashing the interview for a least a chance.

While we're on this, how many people get an interview after ATARs come out? Do they allocate X number of places for decent UMAT + ATAR or...
