is it possible to alter the "you last message was posted from IP less than 20 seconds ago" or something..
atm

if you try post within 20 seconds, it seems you have to wait the full 20 seconds again before posting / pming?
possible to make it so attempting to post does not count as post?
sometimes i get excited and end up having to wait 2 minutes ='-

also, it think it would be a good idea to introduce a pm window maybe once ever 6 months that you have to say you still want your add up on the tutoring section. If this does not occur, i can see the tutoring section getting very clogged up in a few years.

What does this button do when making a post?

Code: [Select]
[suspicious]...[/suspicious]
Just curious

The mouseover text for the button says "hide enclosed from suspicious visitors".

I don't know who would be considered a "suspicious visitor" though.
Maybe guests? Nope, viewing as a guest still shows the 'enclosed' text.

[suspicious]...testing suspicious tag...[/suspicious]

Edit: From the SMF website. (looks like it's apart of some SMF mod called 'Bad Behaviour')
Quote
For example, if you have a meeting and want to post your email address, instead of just posting it you can enclose the content in the new BBC code.  If a guest gets flagged suspicious by BB they will not be able to see the information.  But a logged in user or a guest who is not suspicious will be able to see the information.

It looks like users have to be flagged as suspicious or something like that. (assuming that it is this 'Bad Behaviour' mod that is being used)

It may be shortsighted of me to say so, but I don't really see how it'd be useful... We just ban spambots and trolls.

I don't think it's anti-spam, it's more anti-data mining

Wait, we're supposed to ban them?  I thought we were supposed to just eat them...  Oops sorry.
