Hahahaha, I love how I got the gist of what is being said based solely on my understanding of Italian. :3

Know what you mean there. Can understand that Italian no problem...gotta love the Romance languages :D

Haha ciao! Sto bene grazie; e tu? :P Sì, parlo italiano. L'ho studiato fino all'anno 11 siccome la mia scuola superiore ha deciso di non continuare la mia classe (c'erano solo 3 studenti nella mia classe). Però, l'ho studiato anche all'università l'anno scorso (Italian 3 e Italian 4). Anche tu parli la lingua?
Buono  :P Im sorry but that is my limit lol. I only did it for 2 years in early high school. I understand it more than i can speak it. From what i remember of the language, you said you studied it until year 11 but it was cancelled b/c only 3 students were doing it? And you studied it at uni too? Unless you said something completely different and i am way off lol

Yeah, that's exactly what I said. The grammar in that post is relatively simple so I'm not surprised you understood it. ;)

Anyone who has completed the GAMSAT here? If yes, what subjects are recommended that will be helpful for it?
Thanks

Question has been asked to death, but in general chem and maybe physics should prep you up for the science section.

You will be starting your first year of uni this year, dont worry about the gamsat. Trust me, you have all of second and third year to dedicate to it... Stupid gamsat  ;D  (btw, any info you need to know about it can be found at the forums on pagingdr.net)

Yeah but i am saying it is best just to focus on your first year of university and starting gamsat study at the end of the year. 1 year for your first attempt is way too much in my opinion but i guess it is your choice. Do not pick subjects that you think will help with the gamsat, pick the ones you think you will enjoy. From my experience and the information i have gathered, section 1 involves developing reading and comprehension skills over time and will most likely not be affected greatly by a subject you studied for one semester.

It wouldn't be that much help because Section 1 is based on reading passages of literature if anything. The few data-related questions would pop up in the biology questions of Section 3 and you can work them out by using whatever information they give you.

Agreed with above though, you don't need to worry about GAMSAT in first year. You can start studying in the summer holidays before 2nd year and that's still plenty of time.

Well now, it says for chem10003 lecture 3 on Fridays 10 am, there is an increase in student numbers so there may be a relocation and possibly change the time to 8 am. :( I hope they only relocate.

Another jaffy question, is it doable to have five classes in a row without break (like three lectures and two practicals/tutorial) or it's too exhausting? Thanks :)

Depends. My friend had like 6-7 hours of classes without breaks once but I think he was...ok. He was an abnormality.

Probably not something I'd recommend.

That being said, if you're confident with the level of reasoning and knowledge required in your first year, having the next two years GAMSAT-free is a big win

Brilliant. No way the people in the 8am lecture will just show up and overcrowd the later lectures instead.
