It'll get better as you get through your degree, trust. :)

I probably had my best mid sem break yet, caught up in 3 of my subjects and completed some assignments due straight after break. I think I like the week off more towards the start of the semester than towards the end, last semester it felt like such a rush with exams only 3-4 weeks away.

I'll admit that I was largely unproductive and didn't get any meaningful stuff done over the break.

But I caught up to my subjects and am lectopia-ing my last lecture right now, so I got that going for me, which is nice

Aside from my Experimental Animal Behaviour swan research, I did one lecture. ONE. I have the most ridiculously busy week ahead now, I think I'm going to roll over and cry.

Hi, can someone explain to me how mid-year entries work?
I'm thinking of applying for the Bachelor of Science for entry in semester 2
If i get accepted, how will my units/subjects work? Will I be doing semester 1 subjects or semester 2? What units can I choose to do?
I want to major in psychology, so can I still do the psychology semester 2 subject without doing the semester 1 unit of it? I'm confused...

There isn't much information on the melb uni website so I'm not sure how my studies will go if i get accepted... Thanks

First day of mid sems:

M2M 2 wordy, 2 much overthinking. Also doesn't help when you make facepalm worthy mistakes. I'm so salty at the moment.

Did anybody go to the Game of Thrones screening today?

Is gastro a legitimate reason for special consideration? I caught it this morning, probably from the dodgy food from work.
Apparently I have to get a form filled out by my doctor and submit it for review.

I'll still try and go to my midsem tomorrow morning but if nature calls I'm not going to shit myself in my seat no matter how much I value education.

I really hate how physics pracs are due in the next day. Like come on. One night to write every physics prac report?
Main issue is that I have chem pracs for like the whole day on some days and it's so easy to forget when you're doing five things at once in the chem lab. Sigh. Losing marks for physics lab reports for lateness is going to cost me.

The BIOM20001 mid-semester test on Thursday is starting to get to me a little bit. Like, I've done as much study as I can and I think I've got a good grasp on the content, but I guess it's difficult to know if you really can recall all of it given how much there is to know. At least we have multiple choice to work with, but I can't help but feel the nerves will get to me and I'll blank out. :/
