Wow, get absolutely fucked lol. Good luck.

Pretty sure immuno kids and pharm kids will be crying together. Ridiculous that they're so few marks.

Yeah - assessment has gotten a lot harder in third year..

Woohoo! Our BIOM20001 cohort did better as a whole on MST 2 compared to MST 1 and we improved on last year's group results! (I know Robb told us not to brag, but I'll take the small win for now :P ).

They made your test easier obviously, out of pity /s

For honors grades, do you get individual marks for each unit or just one overall mark at the end of the year?

Mark for each unit, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah - assessment has gotten a lot harder in third year..

As I've said previously - I think the step up from third year to second year comes from the new format of assessment. The content doesn't get that much harder, but they move to more short answer/longer responses/assignments. Which require you really know your stuff and are able to explain it (unlike a multiple choice test.)

From first to second year, the content gets a lot harder, but the format of the assessment is pretty much unchanged.

edit: Woah, just realised it's the end of week 12. Honours is a bubble.

Just a head's up to anyone who hasn't done UNIB20007 MST 3 yet: as the reviews say, it's pretty ambiguous and therefore difficult, and I didn't find consulting my notes any help whatsoever in clarifying the options. Also, you can get half marks for some reason. :S

Yo. Is there anywhere on campus that we can access 24/7? I saw a few pages back about Frank Tate, but I just want to make sure.

Do you mean to say that the questions on the test were not covered in lectures ? :/

It was all covered in lectures, but it seriously looks like there are multiple correct answers, and I found it essentially impossible to distinguish these answers a lot of the time. Maybe it's just me, but you'll probably see when you sit the test soon.

Would people be in favour of putting a "TL;DR" heading into the template for the for the subject reviews? I love the effort that people put in them, but some are getting hella long and it'd be nice to have a section that – along with the rating – gives a quick and jaunty assessment of the subject overall (and may entice some to read the whole thing rather than just scroll through it).

Feel free to shoot me a PM pertaining to getting to M.Eng through the Environments course, or the Envs/Eng courses in general.
