tbh i gotta commend the uni on its special consideration stuff. the student centres all acted really quickly with any issues and i gotta say they are firm but fair with the outcomes they provide for different situations.
so happy i got offered 2 late withdrawals with fee remission and the subjects not counting to my wam

Considering to change minors (economics -> Accounting) However, this would mean i'd have to either overload a heck ton or stay for another year right? (or is there someway i could withdraw from one of my subjects and do an accounting subject at this point?) I initially wanted to major in finance, minor in economics, but this macro bs is really turning me off from economics..

Guys, you've been absolutely amazing over the past two and a half years! There's no way I could've done as well as I have without your advice and support - the fact that you've both been able to pull through no matter what's been thrown at you has given me the hope, strength and drive to continue pushing myself until the very end, even when it's all looked too difficult. I'm really hoping you're not beaten at the very last hurdle.

For the long run, are the first two biology subjects for Bsci (biol10004, biol10005) important? That is, would I be punished for not knowing my first year bio in second year and third year subjects (assuming a life science major), or in the GAMSAT? I find biology (theory/lectures) is such a bore so far, it's gotten to the point I catch myself daydreaming or browsing the web during lectures every 2-3 minutes

You'd be punished for the life science majors, but GAMSAT not as much

The first lectures of 10005 are indeed boring, but they do get relatively better. 10004 is much better I'd say

I enjoyed BIOL10005 quite a bit more than BIOL10004 until it got to the animal evolution bit. Genetics was fun tbh, even as someone who detests biology.

I loved BIOL1004 and learning about the lungs and circulatory sys and animals and all that jazz. Even the mutualism stuff was interesting.

Genetics is just... dry
