I also sat my exam in the Carillo Gantner theatre which wasn't ideal in the first place, but the lighting issue made things a bit more difficult.

Oh my god. I can't even stay awake in that theatre, let alone think.

I guess it's time to stop beating myself up about it and just see how it all goes. I'm just disappointed though because I think having those extra 10 minutes could have made an insanely massive difference.

I haven't booked an appointment before but I've done the drop in session and I thought it was quite helpful. It was good to have a more experienced writer proof-read my work to make sure it was the best it could be

I did it last semester and yeah they can be quite difficult but they're only worth like 5% anyway
the best advice I can give you is to exhaust all your options and eventually you'll get on the right track towards getting the correct answer. It also helps to make friends in calc2/form study groups who can give you ideas on what to do + check solutions

At least we're all more or less in the same boat, although I can't help but feel as if I did a little worse because my anatomy knowledge was a bit shaky to begin with. But man, I had no time to even read the physiology multiple choice properly - to the point where I don't even remember what answers I selected out of the pure rush and guesses. :S

Can anyone explain to me why exactly https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/CLAS10003 is available as a breadth for Science students and yet https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/CLAS20021 & https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2015/CLAS30004 are not? I mean they are literally all the same subject and Com. & Env. students are allowed to do all of them as breadth.

each student centre has a few people dedicated to special consideration so go into your student centre and ask who you should email and then email them

Yep, we were told there would only be two short answer questions (one for anatomy and one for physiology), not four. Do you recall if it was 45 marks, 45 minutes for you guys? I don't recall ever having an exam where the number of marks was more than the number of minutes available (almost always it's one minute per mark). I know they extended our test to cover lectures 1-30 rather than 1-20 (which made sense) so we had the upper and lower limbs come up which I don't think would have been on your test. We also didn't get reading time, but it wasn't indicated that we'd get reading time anyway.

Yeah I'm pretty sure last year my grade was out of 45 for the first MST. It didn't cover any anatomy lectures after Varsha's block.

While you might've not done as well on this one, you still have a good chance of redeeming yourself (you're still probably going to get a H1 anyway). So yeah, it's unfortunate but we aren't going to do well in every piece of assessment.

I really want to major in neuro now (instead of psych) because apparently I do find science interesting (haha) but my problem is I'd like to do my masters in clinical neuropsychology, and I think that means I do have to major in psych anyway??
