Is there anyone else here who likes going to genetic/ev. lectures because Theresa's voice is so soothing? or am I crazy? haha. She talks at just the right speed but also explains things thoroughly and doesn't just read off of slides. A++ lecturing
No I feel the same way, she is amazing haha. What I love about her lectures is she kind of gradually takes us in a little journey, like today she started from amphibians and then slowly built her way up to mammals. And between all those transitions she gradually showed us how everything changed from amphibian to mammal. Other lecturers just tend to spit out loads of information here and there and its just information overload, for her its more systematic and stuff, if that makes sense.

And her accent is an unrobotic and un-monotoned version of Elgars lol,

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

I can't even remember his, it feels like a lifetime ago.

And you're spot on with the whole journey thing!

I quite like the content tbh even if it's just rote learning. David Attenborough documentaries over Netflix any day! Plus her little jokes here and there makes it more interesting. While she's not funny enough to make me laugh out loud, I appreciate her humour and welcome it

anyone having issues with turnitin? I've been trying to upload my assignment for the last half an hour and it just keeps getting stuck on 'confirming...'

Okay so I got a receipt emailed to me and it's there- so I guess it worked

Yeah that happened to me too and funnily enough the receipt came through this morning.

On to good news, I was told this morning in my marketing tute that the passing mark for the last essay (worth 10%) had a passing mark of 68 with some people failing. Needless to say I crapped myself the whole day and just found out that I had done way better than I expected.

Anyone else feel David has made a bit of a mess of digestive physiology in BIOM20002? I think so, especially after attempting the concept check. :S Up until now I've thought he's been pretty good but I have a feeling things are going to start taking a turn for the worst. :/

I wonder what unimelb is going to do with all the promotional material now that we're no longer Australia's number 1 university. http://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/world-university-rankings/2015#sorting=rank+region=+country=+faculty=+stars=false+search=
