Hope everyone is enjoying their midsem break. Wow I haven't posted on here since August 22.

Hey Starlight! How's the optometry course going? I'm really keen to hear how you're going. :)

Hey guys, just for BIOL10005, does anyone remember what kind of section D questions were given? Were they problem solving based genetic questions? Or just discussion questions? Combination of both?

Thanks!!!

Welcome back Starlight! In before you never post again. :(

Haha I don't post too often these days, but i'm always lurking around on the forum every now and then to answer any PM's etc.

Hey Starlight! How's the optometry course going? I'm really keen to hear how you're going. :)

Hey Stick! Really like my course! It's definitely a challenge, but there's a great group of about 60 students and we've definitely become a supportive, tight-knit community already :)

I might write a review of my first year of optometry after end of semester exams if anyone's interested.

2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

I do very often think of (just made a vtac application) switching courses or universities, but I've never thought of dropping out of uni entirely. Seems very drastic and I wouldn't think of it in most circumstances.

not necessarily drop out for me, but I often have thoughts about doing another degree (sometimes at another university). Just the other week I was wondering what life would be like if I did engineering at monash, but it never got to the point where i seriously considered transferring  :P

For anyone who has done PBL, do the online tests help at all in relation to the exam? Are they similar questions?

I probably should have thought about this earlier, I haven't touched any.

I think you should take some time and reflect what's making you feel this way or talk to someone. I'm always one message away! I felt like this for 2 weeks but after thinking about it, I found that Chem 2 was the source of these urges because it stressed me out so much. Point is, something is making you unhappy and I think it's important you find out what it is and address it before you make any major decisions
